Today’s screw technology is not enough for tomorrow.
Biomech Innovations is pioneering Variable Fixation, the innovative locking screw technology naturally transitioning from rigid to dynamic stability during treatment[1].
Variable Fixation Locking Screws (VFLS®) are innovative locking screws boosting new bone formation through three fixation phases.
Rigid fixation
Respects inflammatory processes and blood vessels formation.
Progressive Dynamization
Boosts the production
of new bone.
Dynamic fixation
Allows new bone
calcification.
Complementary
Replaces existing screws or can
be used alongside them.
Versatile
The principle can be used for
most long bone fractures.
Compatible
Uses existing surgical
procedures and instruments.
